Spiritual Director

Rev. Christy Snow is an ordained minister with 20 years of experience in pulpit ministry and more than 25 years experience sharing keynote addresses, music, workshops, and retreats for New Thought centers, conferences, interfaith events, pride events, schools and universities across the US and in Canada.

A professional musician for over 34 years, she has 14 CDs that range from spiritual chants to Native inspired flute, guided meditation, and acoustic folk/rock. Her talks are filled with real-life anecdotes that are evocative and relatable and empower the listener to step into a greater degree of living. The accessibility in her teaching, singing, and speaking style assist others in learning how to apply life-affirming principles to their everyday life. She encourages others to “be the difference” they wish to see in the world and to become aware and take responsibility for the life our thoughts create. She says, "we can live a life fueled by passion and directed by purpose, once we realize we are the ones creating the circumstances of our lives.  Living from that empowered place we can profoundly affect positive change for our planet."

Rev. Christy began her ministry in 2005 as co-pastor of the Spiritual Living Center of Charlotte where she served for 10 years. January 1, 2018 she founded Awaken Spiritual Community, where she still serves. In addition to her music and pulpit ministries, Rev. Christy also has a thriving coaching and retreat ministry that assists individuals, couples and communities through times of shift and change. She also teaches meditation and chanting to individuals and groups in person and through online platforms such as insight timer and YouTube.
